Shelly Seckers

As the Assistant Director of Financial Management at Virginia Tech, Shelley Seckers leads and delivers fiscal training and process improvement projects for university employees. She holds a Master of Arts in Educational/Instructional Technology, which enables her to design, develop, and evaluate effective and engaging learning solutions that mirror critical financial activities.

Shelley is passionate about aligning strategic goals and objectives with the mission and vision of Virginia Tech and collaborating with senior management and stakeholders on fiscal matters. She has successfully coordinated the annual Business Practices Webinar, led a business practices stakeholder group, and assisted with audit recommendations and progress reports.
