Sarah Modrak

Language Instruction Education Program Specialist, Henrico County Public Schools

Sarah Modrak has been a Henrico County Public Schools educator for over 20 years.  In that time, she has served as an elementary classroom teacher, associate principal, principal and most currently serves as the Language Instruction Education Program Specialist serving multilingual learners from Kindergarten to 12th grade. 

A native of Richmond, Virginia, Ms. Modrak attended the College of William & Mary for her undergraduate coursework in elementary education and psychology and earned her Masters of Education in Administration and Supervision at Virginia Commonwealth University.  Additionally, she is a Nationally Board-Certified Teacher.

Ms. Modrak is an advocate for ensuring every student, including the many diverse learners in the district are prepared for success in school and beyond.  She currently teaches a specialization on Diverse Learners and has mentored multiple future HCPS leaders.
